The route offers beautiful scenery to participants as they make their way through the Thai countryside. The route goes through the rainforest, alongside lakes and mountains, through a fishing project, past the reforestation nursery, and ends back at the Log of Paradis Resort. The walkers/runners will enjoy views of a small Thai village and its surrounding rice fields.The majority of the route is flat, with some  slight rolling hills, and the running and biking surfaces include dirt tracks through the forest, paved cobble stone roads and asphalt areas.

Recently, on August 10, 2011, BABSEA-CLE international legal studies interns and volunteers helped raise money and support for the construction of a legal consultation clinic at the National University of Laos Faculty of Law and Political Science by participating in the Interns Running With a Cause Event.

BABSEA-CLE interns garnered support by participating in a 10K run along the Trio for Justice route. The event was a huge success and provided a unique opportunity for many novice runners to try out the course for the Trio for Justice.
